I think that Pinnacle is kind of a plastic all it's own. It really doesn't compare to Champ or Z in my opinion. Much better grip than those types of plastic.

Ya I don't get the comparison with z or champ. Feels and looks nothing like those plastics.

I also don't get why everyone claims that the pinnacle rivals were so stiff. In my experience icon is as stiff as a board whereas pinnacle is a tad more flexy. I say a tad compared to icon; it's still more stiff then almost any other premium plastic.

Pinnacle plastic doesn't have a set stiffness. I'll also say that point pinnacle is like a premium pro plastic. Its very durable but it also has that pro texture. I had a crazy stiff pinnacle rival and a crazy gummy pinnacle cannon. Its incredible plastic, definitely the most unique on the market

I've had Rampages and Rivals in Pinnacle. The Rampage was a very early run and stiff as a board but amazingly pearly. The Rival I've been throwing the last couple weeks reminds me of the really pearly 11X KC Pro plastic I loved for TeeBirds. It's considerably softer than the Rampage and gummy.

I have a PM in to lion for some of the 1st Run Patriots. I'm pumped to try these.

The pinnacle "wings" first run blue & baby blue rivals I got were mega stiff yet still had decent grip. I also felt up a gummy white (or light yellow??) "wings" pinnacle that a bud had which was less stable. I saw that Lion had a couple "gummy" 168 yellow Patriots that went fast so I wonder if they too will be less stable.

Anyway, where can I buy a Legend plastic Legacy? I'd love a Rival in GL. The stiff ones ricochet like pool balls off trees, chop down small saplings, and don't slow down... great for skips though.

Hit up Lion via PM. That or buy a tornado relief disc at discgolfblackmarket.com
They're soooooooo $. The sparkle rivals are more OS than a pinnacle. Very similar to a CAL 11x bird.

I've owned several 11x TBs and all had a softer plastic than the first run pinnacle rivals save for the gummy one my friend let me see that was a lot softer.

So the sparkle rivals have a grippier/softer feel like an 11x, anyone else have a similar disc? More OS than pinnacle would be excellent

Pinnacle Pats should land at DN tomorrow. Excited to get my hands on them. I'll probably buy one and go give it a test run. Curious if they are a bit more stable than Icon. I could use something in between my Icon Pat's and 165 Rival

I'd love to have a rival or patriot that felt similar to my 11x keepers or was sexy Gold Lineish as I've seen in a few pics

Stiff like 12x pearly firebirds:

Buttery goodness:
