American Disc Golf Tour
Another day, another tour announced:
Www.Americanddiscgolftour.com My bad for the link not working, on my phone. Looks like it's based in South Carolina, no word on who is behind it. I get a weird Salient vibe out of this, which I don't like. Hoping my spidey sense is wrong on that one. Sponsored Links

Well, ESPN2 live coverage is a HUGE step above anything else being promised by tours in 2016. We'll see how it turns out!

Well, the AFL and the ABA started outside of the traditional leagues and we're later incorporated in. Of course, so did the USFL and the XFL. I'd like to know more.

Check out all the rules for the tour. Very strict standards and vary from the pdga rules. Ex. no more that 30 discs in your bag or DQ. If you run out of disc DQ. If you use a disc you did not start with, DQ. If you arrive late after everyone has holed out, DQ. No two meter rule. Cannot mark lie using disc thrown. etc. Still looking it over.

I would love for a new disc golf tour to eschew the PDGA and create a true professional tour. If this is Salient it is not happening. And if it is Salient, there is zero chance ESPN is on board.
