no the Straight winged Destroyers are what I have called a L wing but made in the same mold as the standard X wing, forming different. I have called these that as to separate the molds and the fact the Wraith mostly Champion that had the same straight wing in the 2000's was designated the L wing even though it is not a separate wing like the Eagle.

Maybe it's just me, but I find referencing discs like this just adds to the confusion.

If it's an "L", it's an "L"....if it's an "X", it's an "X" and "perceived" flight characteristics should not change that.

What adds to the confusion is there is a new mold starting with the Wysocki Destroyers. The first run of the new mold happen to have stright wings.
Is it the mold or the molding?
We'll find out when they make more.

I meant to say, " another thing that adds to the confusion".

PSA to new players

You are best served by believing maybe 50% at best of what you read here.

No as I never got a disc Past speed 9 until I got the Innova champion Destroyer both in 2014, so I could be wrong on the name. These Wraith from 2008 that were Champion did have a player signature on them just, I might have forgotten who.

But if from time to time these Destroyer and Wraith actually form with a straight wing due to the forming process, then yeah we have a problem on what to call them. These discs need a designation to them as Wraith at one point in Star did what the ones in Champion did for some runs one year in the 2000's.

It's X-wings and Y-wings. I'll even do A and B-wings. Original trilogy only. Aren't you all arguing about prequel nonsense. Jar Jar plastic teebirds? Innova is so inconsistent lately. But rocs and teebirds are still the gold standard. Even though they all fly different. How do you tell what run you're getting? Agree Hampstead. 50 percent is generous too.

When was the wraith ever designated to have an L wing. I have never heard of that reference for wraiths.
