-2 star Mako3's (174 and 162)
-1 XT Mako3(174)
-Mcpro Roc3 (174)

The 174 star Mako3 is starting to beat in and leans slightly understable, the XT is beat in well and is fairly understable and the other still pretty much follows the line you put it on.

The Roc3 is probably a 6.5/10 I got from a friend to be my overstable mid but it's beat in enough that it flips up and starts to turn over with enough power. I'm not crazy about the feel of it in my hand. Here are my thoughts to fill an overstable mid slot. can anyone whose thrown more than one give me come comparative insight?
-Gator3
-Evo Method
-Deflector
-Verdict

Second question, my go-to tomahawk/thumber disc is the Lat. 64 explorer. I have some applications at my home course where being able to bomb a tomahawk being an advantage. I consistently can sit pin high on a 365' hole with the explorer. I was reading into the Lat 54 XXX and was wondering if it might be worth picking up?

Thanks!
If none of those discs are beefy enough try a Star Whippet X mold from the Innova Pro Shop, the mold though a fairway is like a midrange but only a tad faster but not by much distance as it is so beefy https://proshop.innovadiscs.com/star-whippet-x.html

Best match in feel to the Mako3 would be a MD4. . .it´s quite more stable than the Mako3...but not super OS

I think MAKO3 - MD4 - and something super OS like a Drone, Justice, Caiman, MD5 is a good mid setup

Caiman has the microbead to it, making it closest to a Mako 3 but maybe a Morter is a good choice as that is no bead like a Cayman but no bead at all.

I'm pretty sure the Mortar also has a microbead. To me, both are equally comfortable backhand and forehand. Flight-wise the Caiman is dumpy while the Mortar glides more before dumping.

There was a specific run of Mortar with the micro bead that inspired the Cayman for one of the players who is Innova sponsored, I forget if it is Nate or Jeremy. They number the runs due to the Hyzerbomb molds being stamped by Millennium and it was _.5 I know that for sure. I think the rest of the Mortar were supposed to be no bead again unless Innova factory could not fix that.

Good to know about the flights, I did not know there was a difference.

^^Both 1.4 and 1.5 run Mortars have small beads. There hasn’t been a 1.6 run yet.

Thanks. Very interesting to see the Pine tied for most overstable. I wouldn’t have guessed.
