I think they said in the final round vids that he is 29 or 30?

This was posted in the tourney thread, but I like it here more:

Congrats to GG. It's awesome to see guys like Sexton, Brinster, Anthon, Barsby, now GG...players that put in time and didn't have that huge win, you can't NOT be thrilled for them.

When your Sig disc is the Sonic there's a decent chance you've got a good woods game...

Wasn’t the “thumbnail” for the final round on Jomez a pic of GG with his arms raised? That was my spoiler.

IMHO, I expect there to be “day of event or day after event” spoilers on here. So if I click on a thread that’s even vaguely related to something I don’t want to know about ahead of time, then I have no one to blame but myself.

However, Jomez and the other free media outlets have no excuse.

I remain shocked he abandoned the 75 foot firebird skip shot for the sonic floater.

Watched GG for the first round of the Beaver State Fling, and I came away really impressed with his positive attitude. He thanked every spotter. Any time the spectators helped with a lost disc he thanked them as well.

As for his skills, the sound of a disc ripping from Garrett’s hand is like nothing I’ve ever heard. A couple times we were close enough to hear it in flight and it sounded like a mini jet. Amazing.
