I know, I was shocked, and it took all of 5 minutes with no prep besides washing the mud off the disc beforehand... The acetone flashed off rapidly, dry and no mess and no rinsing or washing. I scrubbed with a clean paper towel like a minute after wiping on the dye and it was scrubbing clean. Super easy

I'll be darned, that worked pretty well! The question is, how bright will it appear after it's had a chance to wear/fade a bit.

Not sure, but it barely used any of the 4 ounces that I bought. I wiped another disc this morning... it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but that was my own fault. I used electrical tape to make a design (kind of like a sawblade) but overlooked the fact that titanium discs have raised stamps, so I had a lot of mistake streaks.
Still, it took me like 10 minutes and I can see it a whole lot better.

But back to the brightness after fading, like I said, it took virtually no time to do, and I have a lot (like 95% of the bottle) remaining), so a reapplication wouldn't be a problem after it fades... guess we'll find out. I'm just happy that I can go back to using this disc mold, which was one of my favorites (ace race edition of the mantis)
