Default Envy Neutron Vs. Nuetron Soft

Are there any big differences between the neutron and neutron soft? Having a hard time deciding which one to pick from.

Besides the soft being much more flexible and pliable? It can be preference on feel at that point. I like both. But would bag a reg.

The soft I've thrown is slightly more overstable. Something about the grip on the Soft disagreed with my throwing and I stuck with standard.

Most people say Soft is slightly more stable. I prefer driving with my soft, and putting with my Proton.

In my full bag I have one of each. The flight isn't very different. The soft seems slightly more OS maybe, but to me it gets closer to say that the soft has a bit less glide.

The feel is different for sure. I feel more confident on full rips with the regular, the soft is sort of too soft to really snap off confidently, for me. The soft has the benefit of tree hits not resulting in wild kicks into the poop, and it doesn't skip/slide around as much on tricky greens.

Oh, also, inasmuch as the Envy "breaks in," which isn't really a lot, the soft seems to season more slowly.

Oh, but when it does break in to that perfect "frozen rope" flight that finishes exactly on the line it started on...

Yeah, no doubt. It takes a while to get one there, but it is worth the wait.

My first softie is pretty much at that stage. My problem is that it goes where I throw it...
