Default Throwing Clear Plastic

So my latest order got here; I ordered a DX Leopard, a Z Stalker, and a Q JLS from GGGT. The Q JLS is clear:

My question is -- how hard are these to find? I'm afraid to throw the thing, because I'm convinced that I won't be able to find it again. I don't trust myself to dye it - otherwise, I'd take the stamp off and do a simple dye on it. It's a great looking disc, I just don't want to lose it the first time I throw it.

Anyone who is willing to trade a new, similarly-weighted QJLS for it, I'm willing.

As long as you know what you're looking for/supposed to be seeing, they aren't too bad - just like black discs. Of course color is easier to spot, but it's not like a clear disc becomes invisible. In tall grass they're harder, and at night unless it can catch a shine. It's easy to just dip dye it a solid color instead of doing a stencil...won't come out as bright as most factory colors, but you could easily get a fairly bright orange or yellow.

I don't find them too much harder to find than normal plastic. The rim is so thick that it actually appears almost white instead of clear. They're harder to find than say, orange or pink, but definitely not invisible.

In an open field where you have an idea of where it landed, you stand a good chance to spot it. But in the woods or if you don't see it land, the odds are against you.

I feel like the white rim would be easier to find than some other colors.
