When I travel with a slim bag, I pretty much always have a seasoned Gravity Ghost (which is basically a Roc).

If I have the extra room, I’ll throw in an overstable utility mid like my Caiman (or maybe a Gator or Zone).

I find an overstable mid that I can range well and use for FH approaches to be more useful than an understable mid like a Comet, especially when I’m already carrying a seasoned stable mid that can cover a variety of lines.

Flat top DX Glow Roc/Opto Fuse - This would be my preferred lineup, but I haven't found a good replacement for the two old favorites.

Fresh DX Roc3/Tursas - Current lineup. I don't like the Tursas quite as much as my old favorite Fuse, but it is probably a better complement to the Roc3. The Fuse didn't turn that much more than my flippiest Roc, but the Tursas is plenty understable.

If I could only carry one mid, it would be a seasoned DX Roc3. That disc can cover a ton of shots at my power/skill level.
