I hear ya. Been growing tired of carrying a full pack and simplicity is nice. May revert to the little shoulder bag for a while just to keep it light.

Trust me, you’ll play better with 4-5 molds.

You'll play even better with 4-5 discs.

One of the most fun ways to play! And most rewarding.
4 discs in hand with no bag is one of my favorite ways to play.

But it's a tough sell to the cart players and those who feel they need one disc for every possible shot.

For over a month this past spring, I carried nothing but 3 Rocs and 5 Rhynos.

I learned more from that than carrying my "Bag O' Everything".

I've pretty much been throwing my beat Wizard and beat Buzzz for several rounds. I'm too rusty to throw anything else

In all seriousness, I get my dose of minimalism through sneaking in rounds with 3-5 discs whenever possible. Usually a thrower Dagger (i.e. one that hasn't been designated as primary circle putter, usually a Zero Medium), a Mortar, and an FD.

I like the idea of cycling through a big stack of Wizards, Rocs and Eagle-Xs, in fact I would recommend any beginner pick up some base plastic versions of these to beat up in their beginner bags.
