I think since I have used the new skin, it seems a little bit bouncy from the old skin when new but the skin was a tad thinner and made with better stitching then the original style I mean the hook to basket parts are not stretchy like the old 2000's skin parts but are webbing. Only thing I worry about is the basket fabric ripping sooner then the old stuff as this new skin feels less thick but the new skin might be nylon and rubber on the inside where as the old type the outer was cotton duck with rubber on the inside.

I ordered one from DGU at about that price pointprobably about three years ago after picking up a tattered used skill shot for next to nothing. Easy replacement and that skill shot is holding up fine being in a garage during winter and outside often otherwise. Quality fine.
Very very easy to replace the covers.

It was a bit difficult at first to get the bottom skin on until I had collapsed it more to almost all the way. Yeah we brother and I are going to look on eBay for a used cheep basket or two with trashed skin parts that they have since gone with a metal portable basket for the Yard. I like these Skillshot and similar small baskets like DGA fabric covered basket or the DGA Mach-D14 or whatever that metal one is called over the other baskets that are Marksmen or Bulls-eye style because with Marksman style it is easy to have a disc go in the basket at the top in a way that the disc would not go in a regular basket. True the flaw with Skillshot is some discs flip over the top of the bottom cage at time that would not normally happen with a normal basket and some discs bounce out of the bottom cage but the basket is good.
