AI tournaments

Also play the daily open at least well enough to get the first two rewards - easy to do without grinding too much

It will be interesting to see the variation in ppl's bags. I hadn't been playing much recently, so maybe my Fuse putting wasn't the greatest, but my putting has improved a TON now that I have a putter slot and the Pure back in the bag. I'm currently running the Acc/Sticky which seems good especially with the increased slipperiness of the ground in 998.

And talk about redundancy! I currently have Acc/Wind Musket, Acc/Glide Musket, and Acc/Wind Explorer in the bag, then 3 Ballistas.

Very happy to be putting with the glide sticky Pure again. Everything about the physics is better imo. Round ratings have tanked. I was pushing 1k but I might end up low 900s again now. Odd to throw like a 12 down and get 930 for it...

Round ratings are hilariously dumb now. -10 through 9 holes resulted in a scorching 896 rating.

Try shooting a -8 and not breaking 800.

Do we get XP and money from the Pro Tour? I managed to complete pro tour on .998 without getting any reward or the screen with position or a rating update. (Not that I wanted an update, but the cash might have been nice.)

You do get money from pro tour, when it finishes. I finished 5th in the last one (so close to winning...) and got XP and money as I recall. Probably get more the higher you score.

I'm still waiting for the light extra glide ballista to show up in the pro shop. I have 16K in coins saved up. Level 120 and still haven't sniffed it.

Random thoughts--I really like the new course. Its deceptively challenging in strong wind conditions. Don't be afraid to try for that eagle on hole 6. It is gettable. Tough, but gettable. 7 is gettable as well (A skippy ballista will slide out of traps easier.), so is the albatross on 2. 2 strokes if you miss it though. Hole 8 is a gem, maybe my favorite hole in the game. Really gotta think about the wind and your flight path. Really hard to park, so you gotta have a good putting game as well. Love the stroke only hazards. Drop zone on 9 is a bear. Had it dialed in but am missing it more lately.
