At risk of dragging this thread back out of the political muck. I just got word that one of my systems hospitals has been chosen to receive about 50,000-80,000 Pfizer vaccines. They are slated to be received Dec 1st and would be distributed throughout the 8 hospitals. No word as to when they will begin inoculation, nor whom will be getting the vaccine. It was discussed that we have the freezer capability and over a million syringes stockpiled. Please let this be the beginning of the end.

That's awesome news! I do believe they need to triage the rollout. I rather suspect they will. You guys should certainly get them before me, I work from home.

There are 5 groups, in stages. For some reason, the first two are 1A & 1B. Those professionals on the Covid floor are definitely 1A, first in line.

I, on the other hand, am in the 4th and final group.
