You're in luck. Check out Black Zombie discs. Now you have a new throwing putter 😉

I usually buy discs due to boredom...

I buy new plastic for several reasons. Used to be because I wanted to try different discs. Now it's mainly to try different weights or plastic in molds that I already have, or to buy signature discs of players that I like to support. It's always fun to look and that leads to buying.

Still on my way of getting to understand how disc golf and the physics of flight actually works. Thus I need some experimenting material. Once I have a new theory and tried it with my usual discs, I need to verify its extrapolation to different discs as well. This way my stacks grow. ... so many variations to check! Molds! Plastics! Conditions of wear! Daily form! Weather! Mental state! ... Man! that almost feels like work! ;-)
As my all of my best rounds were three-discs-in-the-hand rounds, with a random speed 7-9 driver, I don't at all need all those discs to actually play ... but I need them to *learn* how to play well! Last edited by Meillo; 11-24-2020 at 04:01 PM. |

Thanks, I'll have to check that out. I know of one tree I'd like to take a chainsaw to....

I like to say that it’s to buy backups of discs I already throw, but it’s become a legit compulsion. I can’t stop buying discs and it’s threatening my marriage. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I guess I'm just lucky....I have about 70 discs in my closet that I don't throw (yet) and my wife just bought me another disc to try out (Innova Roadrunner - I've been mentioning I'd like to try one).

Literally all of those reasons for me And filling the void in my life too! LOL It is bad being OCD and ADHD once I found this sport. The OCD causes me to micro-manage my bag and the ADHD causes me to chase every new shiny thing/disc. I have 142 discs on my storage shelf (I just counted) plus another 20 to take to PIAS, plus my bag and my two kids’ bags. So at least 200 total I probably haven’t played 200 days ever. I probably only played 10 days this year - I know I bought more than 10 discs this year Last edited by etdefender19; 11-24-2020 at 08:15 PM. |

I enjoy exploring new discs, and now have started buying backups for those discs that are favorites.
