Video, How to play Disc Golf With John Houck

I have the movie from 1995-1996 of John Houck teaching how to play Disc Golf. This movie does not teach the X step but used another method of throwing people used before or not knowing the X step existed.

Interesting. I found this video on YouTube but I didn't see a date on it. Looks to be 90s to early 00s maybe? He had moved on to teaching the x-step in this one. It would be interesting to see what he was teaching before in your video.

WOW! I used to think that I was pretty observant.

So what I watched showed several people throwing with basically a single step throw. Then the one guy bombed with an x-step and John talked about the x-step during his "drive" segment.

If you can find the vid, Casey, it would be cool to know what the technique was that you were referring to.

It was the Near X step. The Shuffle thing with the keeping arm like table top during release. I am sure he did the X step at the time just he did not do the X step as this was a beyond basic video as if somebody had never thrown a Catch disc before more then 30 feet. My dad got Video in 2005 with his used Innova Skill shot with logo but an older model that used the more Fabric like Nylon and still had Ching logo on the underside tag. Now same basket has new no logo fabric cover I got for $15 plus shipping as the old skin finally failed.

Where'd you get the replacement skin for the Skillshot? Last time I looked they weren't that cheap.
