Hey, I've been lurking on this forum for a while and have tried applying the various techniques talked about to my own throw, but I struggle in doing so and seem to have hit a wall in regard to progressing. Any advice and help would be appreciated.
This throw I threw around 360 feet, but I have trouble envisioning how I would ever be able to throw farther than that. Maybe the biggest thing I see is my early reach back, but I feel like I am still able to enter the power pocket. Or maybe not. I am confused and need help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCGijAY0hMU Sponsored Links

It looks like you are moving in slow motion, try moving faster (j/k--it's a good video and I'm not the form expert).
I'm with you on getting distance. Seems like black magic. What discs are you throwing and weight? As I continue to work on my distance, I am finding that using the right disc to match my throwing speed is important to get the full flight and that allows me to move up in baby steps. |

That disc I threw there is a pretty light boss which I know probably isn't the best disc to throw. I also throw a 175g wraith and that goes maybe 10-15 feet shorter than the boss on average, so there isn't too much of a difference.

You look very Climo-esk. Are you naturally duck footed?
1. Stay more upright balanced and forward looking during x-step. 2. Try to make rear foot start going forward before arm/disc - lag the arm/disc. 3. Note how your shoulders have flown open to target and upper arm has collapsed. Climo's shoulder are still closed to target with wide upper arm. https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forum...d.php?t=133319
