Default Should DGCR have a Podcast

I think a lot of the topics discussed on here would make great content for a Podcast and would benefit a lot from them being talked about in a longer format. Am I crazy?

Your concept is great, but who would do it?

Maybe experts from each sub-forum? Someone who is an active poster and we can organize who speaks each week and their topics. Some areas can take over two days of the week if one of the other sub-forums is lacking material.

Monday - General Disc Golf Discussion
Tuesday - Improve your game
Wednesday - Equipment
Thursday - DGCR Commerce
Friday - Other "The Water Cooler"

I was thinking that a weekly would be better since I dont think there is enough content on here to have a daily podcast (unless they are super short episodes) but I could see a format where there are two main hosts and then they have random other posters or other main people in disc golf come on as the guests.

Lol....I honestly think a lot of our topics of discussion and takes are already the topics on multiple podcasts.

I travel a lot for work and consume a ton of podcast. I can say without a doubt that there is a need for a DGCR podcast, especially if it is focused on technique and strategy. There are some good pods out there- Nate Sextons is probably the best, with Earhart a close 2nd, but they are both basically the same - interviews with some disc golf personality. Tell your disc golf story, talk about some current events, etc. Fun to pass the time but I haven’t improved my game much by listening.

Technique and strat wise, it’s basically the DD crew, which has some decent technique content sprinkled into basically a dynamic disc sales pitch. The other one is chainclankers, which has improved lately but a lot of the time it feels like the blind leading the blind.

TL, DR - a podcast that is heavy on solid form and technique advice is definitely needed in the current dg podcast landscape

We get Sidewinder to do some deep dives on form. That would be sweet.

I would be interested in hearing CGK, Houck, Pat Blake, Jeff Harper, Chris Sprague and others discuss course design.
