I ran a kids program for several years and had 156-158g Wizards around for a long, long time. So far as putting with them went, for me they basically did exactly the same thing as heavy Wizards with less wind resistance. They were not noticeably longer, they were just sorta helpless in the wind. Using a heavy Magic from farther out was a better option for me to increase that range.

I received a Diamond Wizard last month for sponsoring a hole at a tourney. The plastic looks awesome, a nice pearly, semi-opaque pink.

But it's gotta be the worst of all Wizard blends. I've never felt a plastic that was this slick in the hand.

That’s interesting, I think most will say Diamond In general is a pretty grippy plastic. I toss a full Diamond bag sometimes and have to say it’s ones of the best plastics I’ve felt.

It's the only Diamond Wizard I've ever had so maybe it's just a bad batch of plastic?

Honestly, Diamond plastic can come in a variety of different (usually good) feeling blends. I recently bought a pair of Diamond Shamans that feel quite different than the pair Diamond Wizards I just bought. It's sort of a Gateway thing. Most of us just sort of lean into it.

The chalky ones I've had have all had what looked like white stretch lines going into the rounded portions. Giving it like a chalky look. They also beat in similar looking with more chalky look.

The grip on them is very good, even in slightly wet weather.

I think all mine that were chalky were SSS or more flexy.
