And I’m the opposite. As a guy who loves the FD, if I can get the original mold from the original manufacturer and in the same plastics that I’ve always known and loved then I honestly don’t have any interest in trying Discmania’s recreation in their new plastic.

Kinda like buying Scorpius instead of Destroyers since Destroyers were retooled and Scorpius is the original.

I've dug through stacks of halo Wraiths and wouldn't call any of them mild dome. Finally stopped looking through them.

IMHO, the best mild dome discs started with big dome and got beat down. If it starts mild and gets beat to flat, they tend to fly squirrely for me, as in requiring a very specific hyzer to get the right flight. Less forgiving, maybe would be another way to put it. I don’t have a much experience, so there’s that.

I think I have five halo Wraiths. Two of them have what I would describe as a normal, average dome so they do exist.

As a side note, how did my wishing for halo FD’s drag this thread down into a domey Wraith discussion?

Dear Innova, if you refuse to give me my halo FD then at least please run some for me in luster.

Yes Halo. Like I said one was from the initial drop on the factory store. I ordered 4 at the time to get free shipping. I sold 2 of them (that had huge domes) and still have another as a backup (it also has a huge dome). I had given up on finding other halo Wraiths that I liked until I was checking out some discs at the local shop after a round. I found a GG halo wraith that had a very mild dome and couldn't purchase it fast enough. They are rare.

I think that this conversation went to Wraiths because most people like a mild dome on their Wraiths, same as with FDs. So, if they produce FDs in halo, the Wraith may be a good indicator of the dome that we'll see.

Maybe halo TL3 is your closest option for now. They were up in the factory store earlier today, along with halo teebird3s.

A'ight, back on topic. I'll trade you a luster FDD(fairway driver disc) for a flattish Halo Wraith. Fully prepared for it to be more domey than I prefer but at least I won't be paying a premium for it.

Seriously, I have a couple of lightly used European Open luster FDs that are pretty domey. PM me if interested.
