Default Approved for wholesale $ as onsite tourney disc seller?

I'm curious about getting wholesale pricing for tournaments I'd like to start hosting at my local course. I'd like to have a decent selection of Innova and Discraft for prizes, funny money, and regular sale at these events.

Is anyone (who is not a real shop) approved for wholesale and was there any issue getting approved? Innova has a webform on their site which I filled out a few weeks ago and I'm wondering if there is a magic word I need to say to them and/or Discraft. I haven't approached Discraft yet but I'm I'm looking for any advice you might have.

I am also trying to get discs onto the shelf of a shop across the street from the course so I don't know if I should mention this to them or if that would just confuse the issue.

Any help?

either will readily sell to you if you're running tournaments. as long as you're not looking to put them on account you'll be fine.

Discraft will wholesale to anyone so you should have no prob there as long as you buy at least 25 discs (you can mix and match). Innova I'm not sure about.

Hey thanks guys. I guess I was really worried about the note on Innova's site saying they're not accepting applications for new online dealers so I was thinking they're being really picky. I might be able to get the parks dept to sell discs at their snack stand in the spring. Not that I think I'd make money that way. I'm just excited that families in the park who might like to play could get a DX/ProD disc for short money. I love REI to death but those $18 Star discs just make me sad.

Either manufacturer will work with you, but you might want to just pick one to start out. It's hard enough to stock a suitable variety from just one, while not getting stuck with a ton of overstock.

The online store restriction is so that 500 disc golfers don't start selling small quantities and competing with actual stores, or just getting discs at wholesalefor themselves.

All of the manufacturers are great at supporting tournaments.
