Anybody done a table?

A table at a craft show, I mean.
Have any of you expert dyers ever shown your work to the general buying public?

I mention this because I recently attended one of the bigger such fairs that's held here. It's called "Handmade Arcade" (you could look it up).This buying frenzy started as a genuine grass-roots, local craft-selling concept, and it just took off from there.

It featured hundreds of craftsmen under one roof, selling mostly handmade items; knit wear, art prints, T-shirts, and lots of jewelry. You know the scene if you've been to a summer arts fair, except this event really features a 'handmade' angle.

From its humble beginnings, this event has quickly grown to be a wild success for vendors and public alike. It was thronged this year, and that was at our downtown convention center. There was a distinct lack of a booth dedicated to the disc dyeing arts. I genuinely think there's a niche there to be filled.

The only problem is that you guys are charging way too little for your work.

Funny you should mention that, my GF has a table at a fair coming up in August, she's a silversmith and I know I am going to be scoping out the scene. The problem here is that DG is not nearly as popular as it is back east.
