Default Columbus ohio this weekend 2/16

I'm coming back to my college town this weekend for a seminar. I have around 5 hours on Saturday from 10am-4pm to play. I have played the hambrick course to often. What else should I play? Could I fit in two good courses with travel time to and from campus?

Oh-

IO
You could play griggs its about ten minutes from campus its not terrible but everything is in the short positions so its rather easy right now. However since its so close to campus it would definitely help with you trying to get two courses in.

The 2 courses in Pickerington would be good choices as they are fairly close to each other and you would be able to play both and be back to campus in plenty of time. If you only do one Picktown course I would highly recomend Simsbury (Pickerington DGC). The other course is Sycamore creek church. It is shorter and very muddy right now. Both courses have reviews/pics on this site. I may be able to meet you for a round at either/both. PM me if plan on hitting up the far east 'burbs.

So I was in Columbus Monday through Wednesday of this week & played Brent Hambrick Memorial (Tuesday, May 14th). Really fun course - wish I would have had time to play all 27 holes.

Played Blendon Woods twice as well - albeit a very short course, it was still fun to throw somewhere different.

Anyway - I lost a champ beast on hole 13 @ BH Memorial - name & number on the back - if any locals find it, it'd be a great story to get it back! I gripped locked it into first patch of trees on the right & have a feeling it caught an edge & rolled down into the ravine, or slid under some leaves. Right at dusk, so I couldn't look for it very long...

I had a blast at the Blender. For being a Steady Ed course, I thought it was awesome. I was expecting something like the ones we have here, but it was way better. Envy

That course used to be SO much better before they cut down all the Ash trees and a bunch of the White Pines on 6. Still, glad you enjoyed it. Nati, where did you end up playing? Simsbury was the best course suggested to you, but your other two choices are good courses too.
