You’d hope during a big event there would be tables set up every couple of holes with water available.
Idlewild is the same. They have a few port-o-lets around the park and a couple water fountains you wouldn't want to drink from. Idlewild does have a couple places where you can sneak to a car if there's a back up but its not a quick walk. The long open hole has a lot right next to it but you'd have to park there and then walk 1000yds to get to the first tee.

There is a permanent structure up from the parking lot now.
The closest the course comes to looping back is at #8 teepad, 250-300 yards to the parking lot.

My favorite course to watch coverage of the past few years. Super excited to see this deep field on Harmony!

What structure are you talking about? There's always been a small pavilion right off the lot, in front of #1.

Did they add something, or expand the parking lot? Seems there's room to add the
sort of infrastructure this course needs south and west of that pavilion.

Couldn't agree with you more. This one should be interesting to say the least.

Yes and yes. There is a building with restrooms, and the parking lot was expanded last summer.

McBeth seems to have registered for this recently. Dickerson has been for a bit. https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/48121. UDisc also says Ricky is playing it. https://udisclive.com/live/midamerica2021. I'm excited to see some of the 1050 boys hitting this track. There's been a lot of good players hit this event in the past few years, but not any of the top few guys. I look forward to some eagles on the par 5s and how they play hole 2. Hole 2 is one of the best holes on tour in my mind. So difficult, yet very fair for a touring pro.

Looks like Wysocki dropped. Wouldn't be surprised if more so the same, considering the weather forecast plus DDO being 4 rounds on 2 courses this year.

Unfortunate, but predictable due to the location of the course.

I hope too many more don't skip this one. I was excited that it was being played earlier this year so there'd be a better field than in the past. This event was one of the ones that used to suffer from players going to Europe in July or so, kind of like Idlewild and, I think, DGLO. Such a great (I'm biased, but not wrong) stretch of the tour.

Ehh... even if Paul drops also i think there will be plenty of 1020-1040 players that will play it. there are 25 players ranked 1020 or higher... It would be cool to see MJ play that course. Hopefully he makes it onto one of the feature cards and maybe even the DGN livestream on Sunday... A final round lead card of Conrad, MJ, Dickerson and Casey White would be nice...

Looks like CCDG and GK Pro will be there.
