Default Buzzz with a thicker Rim

Not sure if anyone else has felt this way --I love the Buzzz and how it flies, but I have big hands and the rim just doesn't feel comfortable for me, whether it's power grip or a pinch grip.

Anybody have a recommendation for a disc that might feel a bit more full in the hands than a Buzzz, but flies similarly?

I think it’s the Stalker that gets described as having a buzzz type flight but with a wider rim.

Depends on how you like your Buzzz's to fly. I like Z Buzzz that fly super long and straight with no turn, then slight fade at the end. For that same kind of flight in a fairway driver, I like the TL3.

Agreed check out a QMS. Little deeper and a little thicker/blunt/fuller rim.

I'm also curious what you like about the Buzzz and think that has a big bearing on what disc would suit your fancy. In particular, what is it that you like about the flight? For me, I like how a premium (mainly Z) Buzzz can have some decent turn, straight flight, but still get some dependable (even if slight) fade at the end.

But I do get the grip issue. One thing I love about the Buzzz is the streamlined, low profile feel in the hand. It feels great for me both forehand and forehand, and that's important for my game. I basically started with the Buzzz as a workhorse mid and have never tried to replace it, but I can think of some mids that seem to have that rim that you might like. The main ones that come to mind are Wasp, Ghost, and Roc3. All do well in premium plastics but might be a little more overstable. I have definitely thrown some heavy/premium Comets that might replace a Buzzz, but that's usually in limited releases (e.g. Titanium or the occasional tour series Z).

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the recommendations so far.
For a little more context, I think I like the same flight that you're talking about armiller. I throw an ESP Buzzz that's not too beat in and I like how it has a small turn after a bit and then a small fade at the end. I feel like with that flight it's easy to shape a lot of shots with. In other words, it's got some turn and fade to it, but it's small enough that I can still hit tunnels

What do you mean thicker rim? A mid that's chunkier or a fairway that has a wider rim?
