The Diablo is a true fairway driver(Teebird, Eagle-X, Avenger, Saint). Where as the Ninja is more in a class with hybrid drivers(Thunderbird, Undertaker, PD, FD3). In terms of stability, I'd say they're similar, but definitely not identical.

Thumbs up

A little birdie told me that these should be going in for approval very very soon.

Dave is running more Ninjas today in some different colors and softer blends to make sure they pass the flex test. I think he will be sending out all 3 molds for approval next week. #stoked

It sounds like a Ninja may be a good compliment to Assassins. I'm currently carrying 2 Assassins and 2 champ Thunderbirds.

The Diablo would be a better compliment to the Assassin. The Ninja would be more of a compliment to the Apache. A Ninja/Diablo/Assassin lineup would be very effective in covering a multitude of shots.

Thanks. I"ll probably buy both to test them out. The number of discs I've purchased so far this year is much greater than the number of rounds I've played.

Here is my review. I want to get some video soon as well. I really like this disc so far.

The Diablo came in evolution plastic and weighs 172. This plastic blend is very stiff and almost feels like KC pro but after a few tree hits proved to be much more durable. The disc has a slight dome and a nice shallow feel. The rim size is more like a typical fairway driver. I found the disc comfortable to grip for forehands and backhands. I really enjoyed throwing this disc, it is a very controllable short hyzer disc. Thrown flat and soft for 325 foot hyzers the disc would go out and fade slowly. This is not a disc that will do something crazy like flip over or dump out. Powered up for 375 shots it holds the release angle for a most of the flight and softly finishes with some fade. For forehands I liked this disc for 275-300 hyzer releases that just held and hyzered the entire way. I did not trust it on a flex shot to finish left for RHBH or right for RHFH. This is more of a finesse disc than a beefy fading disc. I think this is a good disc for people wanting a consistent straight to slight fade disc out of the box for that 350 range or a consistent smooth hyzer disc for under 300. I would give this disc flight numbers of 8/4/0/2.
