Heh. Usually the "me throwing in the woods treatment" works well enough.

But I'll keep the teepad treatment option open.

I just got on the insanity train. I had a beat patent SPD in the bag for about 4 years that I became terrified of having to replace and these absolutely did the trick. I grabbed a 160 proton and a 172 neutron and they are working like gangbusters. This disc is so smooth. I have been using it as my distance disc for holes where I don't want to fiddle with a wide rim driver and it has been golden. I think I'll eventually grab a max weight proton for a little extra. but man, these are golden.

Hopefully the new prizm plastic stock runs don't come out as flippy as the protos... Though personally, I like the idea of a flippy Insanity off the shelf...

I have 2 of 'em. They definitely turn but will still fade at the end. They're my longest disc when I get the angle right.

What is prizm plastic BTW?

I don't have a Proton, but my buddy just started throwing a fresh one. It has maybe a touch more fade at the end than mine does. When mine were new they flew pretty similar to his, but with a bit more glide.

Have you tried a proton virus 155-158g? It’s flippy but controlable.

Yeah, my N Insanity fills the beat PD role in my gyro bag. One of my favorite overmolds for sure.
