Lose a stroke is bad gain a stroke is good that's basic golf terminology. Troll somewhere else please.

Oh, I think I get your backwards, lack-of-context thinking. You would gain a stroke against your opponent, but lose a stroke from your score. You said nothing of playing against another, so one would assume you were talking about your score only.

I blame horrid spelling and atrocious grammar.
