Default Big hill still number 1 in Kansas

I think that the ratings for the courses need to be checked because they still have Big Hill in Kansas at number 1.I live 10 mins from this course and while I like the challenge of the course it's nowhere near the best course in kansas. The wind there is horrible, they don't maintain the course and it's very hilly.I know its matter if opinion but Kansas has some great courses and this shouldnt be at the top.

The ratings are based on reviews and anyone can write one. If you think the course is overrated, review it yourself.

At least two people (including a Diamond Level trusted reviewer) think that it is a 4.5 (phenomenal) course. That being said, two reviews is a very small sample, and more reviews would certainly provide a better cross-section of player opinions.

This is also the reason that if you look at the Course Ranking List for Kansas on this site you won't see Big Hill in the Top 25. I think that Tim requires at least 10 (11?) reviews to make the state ranking list.

Top ranked list shows Jones West as our top course.
https://www.dgcoursereview.com/top_ranked.php

Which isn't right either as it's not even the second best course in the city it's located, but that's for another thread.

Like what was said, review the course with what you think is a more appropriate rating and that should move the needle that direction.

Having the opinion, that your opinion is more right than other opinions, is simply the wrong opinion.....in my opinion.

Outstanding review of the course. You showed them with your 2.5 rating.

By your metrics, Osage City is now the #1 rated course in the state. A 4.5 rated nine-hole course albeit the rating is from the course designer. Better do something about that one.
