At more than Z? I'll pass. At $11 I'd consider it, but not for $16.

If that new stiff Jawbreaker/rubber proto blend ended up moving over to some mids, that would be real promising. Also just some stock ESP Wasps would sell real well i bet. I'm curious either way on how Discraft is going to proceed with giving certain molds more attention than others.

(look how long it took for them to re-run banger-gt's in ESP again...)

The jb/rubber blend isn't thst durable based on early reports, so it will be worse with mids since mids are more likely to be thrown and hit trees. No word on how much the flight has been affected after the luna took a hard tree hit.

Just thrown one round and some practice with the Luna. Initial impression is similar durability to McPro and KC pro, more durable than JB. Probably similar to X plastic. Obviously time will tell.

Exactly. Its too early to tell. Thats why I didnt buy one right away, I want to see more reviews and let a month pass to see how it seasons.

I do enjoy regular JB for putters, so even if its a bit more durable Id be happy. My X comets have slammed some trees in their day and still fly great.

I know a plastic for the wasp that would have similar durability to the x plastic. x.

Sorry -- it's a message board and we're talking about wasps . . . . is a Luna a wasp?

Here Paul -- X-WASP!!! (sorry -- went old school yelling hoping to get some attention.)

I agree, I think all wasp enthusiasts would prefer a new run of X wasps to cycle as opposed to jawbreakers if we had to choose.

Now I wonder if they could somehow blend up X + rubber...? Seems like I’m going too far down the rabbit hole..!
