I bag both. I throw dx Rocs and champ 3's. I treat the 3 as a fresh Roc. For me, there is not a big difference in flight between a 3 and a new dx. The 3's are better for fh.

Good idea, thank you. I too don’t notice a different between the two molds. 180 Roc3s always seem to have enough dome to disqualify them as even being a “3” mold. I have to go down to 175 and below to find flat tops.

I bag both also and I agree with all this. Only thing I'd add is that for me the champ Roc3 is a touch longer than the Roc. I throw a '92 DX Roc and a proto champ Roc3.

You guys weren't kidding with the current nice run of dx rocs. I have picked up 5 now that have that perfect shape and are a lot more stiff than what has been out there. I can't wait to throw these things.

I was in George Smith's shop and Dave Feldberg was doing an in-store appearance. I walk in on accident to look for Rocs, expecting the usual. All of a sudden I'm waving DX Rocs around excitedly like I struck gold in a store full of people trying to buy Lat 64 and talk to Dave Feldberg with George Smith's wife trying to figure out what the Hell is wrong with me. It was...awkward.

I got me some good Rocs, though.

He restocked? I was there a couple weeks ago and just saw older run DX Rocs. Been looking for the newer embossed run that started coming out last year.

What do they look like and/or how do you distinguish from previous DX rocs? Just a feel thing?

No, it was last fall sometime. I took all his good Rocs. Your welcome.

I would figure all the stores will restock sometime around the start of daylight savings; winter has to be tough for them.

Grabbed some F2 Metal Flake Rocs off Infinite the ither day. Anybody have any info on these? They don’t look or feel like plus molds. The only thing I can find on MF Rocs is a Japan Tsunami fundraiser disc.

Anybdoy know how they fly?
