IMO Mr. Weema has got some major cajones to play in a division so far above his skill level.

This second course doesn't appear to be any tougher for these guys than yesterday's. Players at -5, -6 and not even through the front 9 yet.

Some of the guys are still shredding but there are quite a bit less under par than yesterday. Lets see how it ends up at the end of the round...

I can see a high number happen very quickly on this hole if you're playing aggressive. That green is tiny and surrounded by OB/hazard. There's not much room to land your drive if you're going for the 2, and the hole is over 400ft long.

Has there ever been a tournament where there ended up being a crazy amount of people tied for 1st at the end, finishing up with the playoff from hell where everyone always birdies all the holes? It feels like that could happen here.

Crazy stat of the day:

According to U-Disc, McBeth has had a Circle 1 putt for birdie on 13 of the 14 holes he has played today.

His score? -6.

I ran my throw simulator on hole #7 and found that - to avoid a penalty - the ideal aim point is at the bottom of the big O in the OB green. Yes, aim inside the OB.

That gives you the most area around your aim point (outside the green) to catch your disc. Using this strategy, a 1050-rated player would get a penalty on only 44% of the tee throws, slightly better than going directly at the target.

In other words, there is no safe strategy. Here's to unavoidable coin flips.
