Default what was your favorite throw?

So there's a lot of threads about favorite disc, favorite disc to throw and such, but what was your favorite throw you've made?

Mine was last year with my ESP Stalker. It was extremely windy out, playing a brand new course to me. The hole we were on was in a tunnel with no wind about 30-40' out before the hole opened up to a right bend turn behind a tree with the basket right on the edge of a small cliff. I needed it to curve right, but not right away, and my FH is terrible. So I throw my Stalker hard and low on a hyzerflip, it goes out straight about the 100' before cutting right behind the tree and skipping just over the basket, landing 15' away right on the edge of the cliff. The shot did exactly what I tried to do, (except go in the basket) with a lot of factors.

Now, missing the putt as the now tailwind knocked my disc down to doink off the bottom, way less fun.

Oh man, this is a toughie, but I gotta say it was my first ace. May 5, 2007. Hole 7 at Plymouth Creek, aka "The Gatekeeper". Forehanded my Sirius Orion LF with slight hyzer, it flipped to flat, went dead nuts straight, faded out of my line of sight, and then I heard it, the unmistakable clatter of a disc striking a chains at high velocity. The group teeing off on hole 8 start yelling and screaming. I ran down the stairs to get a bead on the basket, and sure enough, the Orion was hung up in the chains. Even with visual confirmation, I was still in disbelief. Definitely my favorite throw.

My thumber ace at last year's Colorado State Disc Golf Championships. I love throwing thumbers and to get an ace through the trees like that was something special.

My ace on hole 24 at Blue Ribbon Pines this year. Big hyzer with a Pro Wraith straight into the chains with about 15 people watching it come in at the snack shack.....

Hole #5 @ Gateway DGC Fort Worth during the Texas Open. 707 ft hole, par 5, loaded with trees the first 400ft or so, then dogleg left to the basket. I was behind and knew I needed a good drive. Said...wth..went for it. Unleashed a strong hyzer flip that zig-zagged through the trees, caught some wind on the fade and went all the way through the trees. Had a chance for an eagle, blew it. Had a chance for bird, blew it. lol..

Mine was probably a weird one and not a shot in a round.

Playing Quarry Park on the "nipple" hole 16 - an uphill hole at 280' to a raised basket. OB pen on the right hand side which blocks the hyzer to an extent, trees to the left blocking the forehand, narrowish gap up the middle.

Was having a throw around trying to ace run a few holes. Threw a backhand Boss dead straight up the middle, absolute laser line and banged into the bucket, with a load of new players standing near to the basket watching having just cleared the hole.

Thought I'd throw another one and threw the exact same shot with another Champ Boss, hitting the exact same place on the bucket.

Had quite a few aces but it was that I threw a carbon copy of the first throw that still sits with me about that one.

Edit* to clarify neither were actually aces just hit the bucket n the same spot. Shoulda aimed higher...

My most recent Ace - Hole 9 at Parma. 242' downhill, over an OB creek. Flat putter shot with a Plasma Ion.

First PDGA event, at the course I learned to play on, next to last hole of the second round - my first ace ever.

Everyone else on the card was super excited, and I just stood there in disbelief. Only ace of the tournament and I won my division, so my first tournament experience was kinda awesome in large part because of that throw...
