Wolf was the first disc I clicked with. I had a cheetah before that which I never fully liked. For me as a beginner it was a game changer because the disc actually went straight. It is a great approach disc and is a good putter too. The thing took years of damage with little impact to the flight as well. I recommend it for beginners but only in max weight since that is the only experience I had with it. My wife and dad loved it as well. However, I don't have experience with recent baseline plastic so I doubt the durability is as good as the older dx.

For someone who only throws under 200 feet this is the perfect disc (except when it is windy) and for short technical courses this is the perfect disc.

The Wolf is the worst golf disc I ever tried. It's somehow both doggie-toy understable AND glideless. If you nut on it at all it will turn and burn, but when you back off of one it doesn't go anywhere. About all you can do with one is roll it, and you can beat a Cobra into a better roller in about 5 minutes. I personally thought it was useless; anything you could do with one I can think of 50 discs that would do it better.

If I won the lotto and tracked down every Wolf and destroyed them it would be Nobel prize worthy and not a bad use of the money at all.

No. Sometimes trash is just trash. Learning to throw a Wolf would just handicap one's ability to throw actual golf discs well. The only reason we're talking about it is b/c Innova makes it. If it said "Aerobie" or "Quest AT" we would all recognize it for the turd that is.

That's basically what I figured the Wolf to be, a beginners disc. Oh well, live & learn. I used it only a few times, then moved on from it. All discs have a use for someone, so I won't hate on it, just not one I find a use for. I'll use it for throwing practice & warmup, that's about it. I'm still new to this whole figuring out what discs work best for me thing. Trial & error and a little research is all I can do to find the right ones for me. Thanks though everyone for the input!

Newsflash: your opinion (and that is all it is) is not the only one, nor the one that counts for any other disc golf thrower. If someone else like it, it is their privilege to do so and to use it for their enjoyment on the course. It is also their evaluation of their handicaps and abilities that count, not yours.

Not true at all.
