Question Best/cheapest way to mail a bag?

I'm sending out a Fade Tourney bag today. Just wondering how you've mailed a bag before. I've only mailed discs. Thanks!

Cheapest way to do it is tell the person you're sending it to to pay shipping.

I would advise collapsing the bag as much as you possibly can. A box is your best bet, but if it will fit, an extra large size padded mailer might weigh less. Either is best if you have one around the house so you don't have to buy one. If the bag can be completely collapsed, you could conceivably use a heavy paper grocery bag and tape the snot out of it (not recommended, but I've seen it done).

After that its kind of dependent on what it weighs and where point A (where you're shipping it from) and point B (where its going) are.

Try finding a Post office where they are friendly, there isn't a line, and you can explain your situation. Your best bet may be to do one of those flat rate boxes.

Just put it in one of the many priority boxes from USPS. They are free, but you do have to pay a little extra for the 2-3 day shipping. However, you'd have to pay that any ways b/c of the wieght of the bag. Well thats what I would do. Good luck.

My fade tourney bag came in the mail inside a bag, and folded flat in the large flat USPS flat rate shipping box.

No complaints on my end.

Interesting you bring this up, DiscNutt. I was wondering how you were planning on sending it. I think I'll try a flat rate box/envelope for your straps All these ideas look good to me!

with the two bags I've sold/traded online, I just collapsed them down and fit them in a USPS flat rate shipping box. still relatively cheap to send them that way.
