Default Tahoe and Reno and Grass valley, 4 days in JUne Help

June 15-18th sun up to sun down

SO I want to play golf all day for 4 days in June in these three areas. I need help and maybe a guide who is hardcore about playing and giving me all the in and outs of these courses.

Goals:

play at least 4 courses a day, minimun 16 for the trip.
play one day in Reno/ neveda side.
2 full days around tahoe
1 day in grass valley

courses aiming to play:

Dayton DGC
Fernley Town Park
Reno Adventure Park - Blue
Reno Adventure Park - Green
Reno Adventure Park - Red
the ranch

Zephyr Cove Park
Bijou Community Park
North Tahoe Lions Club DGC
North Tahoe Regional Park

Truckee River Regional Park
Sierra College DGC
Toney's Mountain Golf
Auburn Regional Park
Georgetown School DGC

Splat Hill DGC - Back (will be open fathers day weekend)
Splat Hill DGC - front
Hammon Grove Park
Hanging Oaks
Condon Park

Here are 4 days planned out. 13+ hours of day light each day. Can I get these done with 2-3 in a group.?

are there any unlisted courses in the area I can play? Anything not listed. Let me know. Lets get me up to date. thanks

I'd be glad to show you around. Ive played every course on your list except fernley(must be new) multiple times. I live 5 mins from the Truckee courses. In my opinion you should skip Dayton and play Turtle Rock. Dayton is decent but T Rock is a newer almost championship style course. It's top 3 in Tahoe with ZERO crowds. I could let you know the best places to camp/hotel. If you need any info on anything let me know. The new course in Incline is a million times better than the Ranch now that I checked your list again. In Tahoe you could do 1 day Sierra College, Truckee Regional, north Tahoe, and Incline way easy in one day. All are within 20-30 mins of eachother some 5-10 mins even. The next day Zephyr, Bijou, Turtle Rock is way doable. Then you'd be close to Reno to sleep there for the next day.
The adventure course takes for ever to play and it's kinda out there. It takes 2-5 hours to play each 18. I play at a faster than average pace. Make sure and contact Tom for that one. We donate $10 minimum when we play there. It can get crazy windy and you playing on cliff sides so early morning is best. Then play the Ranch and Fernley. I'll have to check out Fernley I guess. Im on my phone so sorry if there's ramblin. Once again feel free to ask me anything.

I've only played Bijou and Zephyr. Bijou is pretty flat 27 holes, nice course. Zephyr is 18 with maybe 2 flat holes. Lots of ups and downs, a real hiking course. At its peak you have a great view of Lake Tahoe and the mountains. Great course. Bijou is much more populated than Zephyr. I would play Bijou first, you will be warmed up for Zephyr. Thats all I know about that area.

Zephyr, North Tahoe, Turtle Rock are the top 3 no particular order. I think most players would agree. Although Sierra College is baddass but tough. I'd say these 4 are a must play. Squaw will more tjan likely not be ready by then. They need to replace damaged baskets anyway to make it back in my top3-4 of the area.

Just make sure you've got a guide for Truckee. No way I could have played it without one.

Also, please take me with you.

why does it take so long to play the adventure courses in Nevada?

What are the best hotels to get a nice room, close to all the attractions in Tahoe. The wife would like to go and do her own thing during the day and have us meet up at night.

are any courses closed during the week or anything I should know about?

Awesome or unique places to eat in tahoe and Reno?

Once again you have quite an adventure planned. If you stay in south lake you nee to eat at womack's BBQ and get the sweet potato pie. You are going to be very tired after a couple of those days. If I'm up there that weekend I'll let you know.

Lake Tahoe Pizza in South Lake is awesome. Go to Hash House a Go Go at Harrahs in Reno for breakfast. It will probably be the only meal you will need that day.

Toneys is a great course, but it takes forever to get in and out of there, playing it usually takes a while too. I recommend you have a vehicle with good clearance, it's been years since I was out there, but the road was a little sketchy.

You really need to add Turtle Rock to your schedule. Also, Kirkwood might be open by then, due to the lack of snow this season. Don't miss it!
