I have tried a lace-up ankle brace that will provide better support and don't limit footwork.

I use treat my feet to relieve my ankle pain and it does provide good support for my ankle. I often play tennis and often feel ankle pain after a game. This ankle support did help to minimize swelling, my ankle was greatly supported and it was comfortable to wear.
