Default shoes

So, 6 months into my DG career I have gone thru 3 pairs of shoes. I drag my foot a bit when I drive and that is eating holes right thru the tops and soles.
Just curious what other people wear, or do I really need to fix my form.
I'm looking at a few pairs of keen/merrel type shoes, seem to have durable rubber and most are water proof so...

Shoes with vibram soles. For what I've read they should last a long time. You can also get pitcher toes to cover up dragging foot as I used to go through tons shoes playing baseball and it may not look great but they work.

Keen milos are shoes designed for disc and I would love to try them out.

I just picked up a pair of these and have fallen in love with them. Super comfortable, very water resistant, and really nice grip.

I have over a half dozen different merrells with vibram soles- I love them all and haven't had problems with any of them. However, I've seen toe draggers tear through every shoe imaginable. The Milos have some Teflon stuff at that spot, and some of the merrells have a hardened, textured leather there, that might help, but I'm pretty sure you'll tear through those as well.

^^^^^ That would be my suggestion...eventually, you'll wear through anything. I used to drag my foot, back in my limited tennis days. If that is to be your style, get Shoe Goo and fill it in. You could also add a small piece of leather, rubber, or even plastic to the wear zone.

Not that I want to turn this into a technique thread, but I started out dragging my foot in DG, when I took larger steps, but don't any more as I've worked on my foot work and shortened it up a bit. It's actually given my more power.

I've been through many shoes and IMO Keen's are the best.
