Default Glow Firebird variations

I played in a tournament today, and bought a few glow CFR Firebirds with my script. after getting them to my car I noticed some distinct differences. Some of them were flat, seriously flat, and the others were whiter and had dome like a 12x Firebird. I decided to pick one of each and give them a whirl. The flat was stupid stable and the domey white one was definitely straighter. After my little test, I returned the domey one that I didn't throw for another one like the flats. Any thoughts?

In my last tournament, I noticed the the domier ones were generally NOT max weight. All the 175s were dead flat. I've picked up two of these now as 11x replacements, but they're seriously overstable.

the flat glow fb's are sick overstable. this seems to be a general rule with glow plastic. I throw an 11x FB for headwinds & flicks. the flat glows are too much for me. I might appreciate a domey one.

I've heard that the glo Firebirds are essentially like the 11x's now. Don't be surprised if more and more of them are flat and super stable. Since I don't throw domey Firebirds, its hard for me to make a comparison.

It's interesting that there would be two distinct variances in the same shipment of plastic. They definitely weren't molded at the same time.
