Default Under stable driver/fairway driver

Right now the only undertsable disc I have above speed 6 or so is a beat dx sidewinder. I throw an s-fd for stable shots and some anny lines. Tbirds got stable to OS and workhorse duties. Comet and core split under stable shots under 300.

The sidewinder is very flippy, mostly I just use it for rollers, and even then I sometimes wish it had a touch more stability.

Im thinking maybe a fresh star sidewinder? For some understable and tailwind drives, and maybe work on rollers with it as well. Or do people think there is a better option out there?

Icon Mongoose for understable air shots without been so flippy you can't keep it in the air while being understable enough that it will readily roll.

Champ sidewinder could do the trick too.

The mongoose sounds flippier than I want.

How close are the champ vs star sidewinder? How much more US are they than a Valkyrie?

The Legend Mongoose adds quite a bit of stability over the icon. You could also check out a Maul. I love those things they're incredibly versitile for understable line shaping. Powered down straight shots, powered up hyzer flip to turnovers, loooong turning shots that turn and don't come back. Sneaky long distance potential that is barely behind my Hatchets for length.

I wouldn't bet on the stability of any valk, sw, or rr. I have a star roadrunner that is absolutely stable and a star valk that is flippy. And I've thrown champ sidewinders that are stable enough to be excellent forehand discs.

I'm actually looking for something similar but more on the slower end of things. I'm currently using a Timberwolf for the slot right now, but I want something more US and I don't have a TeeBird/Alpha beat enough. I was thinking a Pro Leopard which would fit right between my Sidewinder and Mako3 in terms distance and understability. Out of curiosity what is a beatable plastic which the Patriot is available in?

My core and comet are both pretty long! They might be worth a look.

I’m thinking something in the 7-9 slot. So I’m guessing the SW stability is more plh than plastic dependent then?

DGA Sail, possibly? It comes in Proline and SP both are comparable to Star and Champ plastic.

You can get a Pinnacle Mongoose on Legacy's website. That should add some stability.
