What skill would you desire most?

Putting and throwing 250 accurately I can improve on my own and am already fairly good at. Potential for Big D on the other hand is about 30 years and a major back injury behind me so that is the obvious choice for me.

Yeah. If I can throw 500', I must do a lot of things right, so surely I can figure out how to throw 250' accurately.

Per another thread, a 500 ft bomber should throw 350/400 ft accurately so that overlaps

Throwing 250' accurately would keep you from having to make putts outside the circle so that overlaps.

but I still chose putting cuz I suck at it!

With that said, we have a WIDE OPEN hole that measures about 670.

...and I routinely see people push out their drive 450+, then miss 50 feet to the left on their upshot and end up with a 15 footer for par.

...which makes my 300 foot drive, then 250 foot placement upshot, then approach and tap in feel a lot better.

Just a credible forehand. Nothing fancy, 200’ or so with decent accuracy would come in really handy for upshots & short drives.
