I got one....ummm....Slower Gazelle with a boomerang fade?

Fights wind.

Its a tough one...I took my Gazelle out for a while and had it in and I was apprehensive about using it...I put my Gazelle back in and I am complete.

it is not a Gazelle replacement for sure.

I have parked some nice fairway/short drive shots with it in the 200 foot range...if you have a spot for a blunt edge, slow, predictable, heavy handed fairway driver you might have your match.

**hopefully you see the thought progression there**

Sounds like a Banshee by that description.

My champion banshee isn't like that at all. It was my 2nd ace disc. I think the ace took it's overstableness out of it.
My banshee isn't nearly as overstable as you'd expect.
Kinda weird. But I like it and I use it for shorter thumber shots.

I got one about a week ago, played the first time and really wasn't feeling it. Went home and took the flashing off, and it was significantly better. I use Gazelles for control drivers in the 300 ft. range, the Trident has a hard hook and its short, without flashing maybe 230-240. I did like it for high approach thumbers because it has very little right to left motion when it turns over for me. The fact that it is slow and overstable seems to work against it as opposed to something like a Firebird (the disc I was trying to replace with the Trident.) The Firebird is overstable, but it so much faster that when you muscle it goes longer before fading. When you throw the Trident its like its slowing down before it leaves your hand. I don't know what they put in the water over in Sweden, but this aint no control driver for mortal arms. I definitely don't hate the disc, its just not quite what I was expecting.
