My over/under on additional Worlds wins is 1.5 for McBeth, so 6.5 total...he is approaching 30, but is still at the top of his game both physically and mentally...he certainly still has the hunger necessary...which is just as important...the practice commitment, the desire to be the best...

Every time I see this thread I burst out laughing. It’s such a funny punchline every time Pablo is raining fire haha

Not last, but I don't see him doing 4 in a row or anything like that. In the end, it was really Paul vs. Ricky, but if Ricky had shot just slightly better in Round One or Two, he could have won. I would guess another two years of the Paul vs. Ricky show before it becomes more crowded at the top. That isn't to say that only those two will win in 2020 and 2021...just that they are more likely than not.

Seems like Paul is in a great spot for continuing his dominant play. Hannah and Paul make a great team, she talked about her role in helping him succeed this week while commentating with Terry. So long as she supports him in his drive to win World titles, he'll be a favorite through the next 10 years. He sure is getting older, but I see him improving his game at a better clip than he may decline physically.
If he does indeed continue to play for 10 more years, I see him winning 2+ more. Maybe he'll have a couple kids, a $successful$ PMB disc line, and decide winning world's at 36 isn't a priority. Regardless, I'm excited to follow his story.

Hot take: winning 5x worlds against today’s field is a bigger accomplishment than winning 12x against the 90s-00s field.

I don't think that's a hot take. I actually think it was a thread here on DGCR back when Paul won his second world title.

There probably is another thread out there somewhere, but the point that the competition is better today is a good one, and that competition is just going to get better and better as 'young whippersnappers' rise up and get better themselves...

I am so sick of every armchair quarterback pinning this assertion to their chest, puffing up and strutting around like anyone cares.

I mean seriously, it’s a moot point. Move on with your life man.

That whole generation of disc golfer were weekend warriors. Win a tournament on Sunday and then on Monday go wire a house, lay some tile or put up some sheetrock. #mansgame
