Got to throw my zero mace around today. It is pretty touchy about form, but if you give it a clean rip it goes very straight with a dependable fade. NOT a huge fade, but a workable fade. (btw also threw the M1 and it flies a lot like the pain, but without the dome, so for me felt more comfortable in the hand.)

I hit a bunch of trees today with mine and it is fine, it only got one minor ding in it.

I think the rocks after the tree were what really chewed it up. Looked like a dog got it.

Yeah i hit a huge oak tree dead center 150 feet off the tee full power with my zero mace today. Not a single bump or blemish! I think i got lucky, but who knows.

Definitely in love with this mold. The Zero and GL combo is going to be deadly.

Well I tested the GL Mace against the M3 extensively today. 5 rounds to be exact. Both seem to follow similar lines in flight but the M3 was consistantly longer. Which is odd because the Mace was 172g and the M3 178g. Normally lighter discs give me more distance and work better for me. Maybe there is something to this easy release technology mumbo jumbo.

One course in particular had 16 holes of 250' or less so I threw them both on most of those for comparison. Seems like the Mace likes to drop out of the sky and doesn't glide as well as the M3. Really reminded me of a less stable Pain, which also would drop fast like it doesn't have much lift. Could be user error but the M3 just flat out did what I wanted it to most of the time. So look for a couple of GL maces and a zero hard in the marketplace fsot. I'm drinking the koolaid.

lol im going to test it out some more the next few days. honestly, if i still hold that same opinion i wouldn't say no to a straight trade. again though, i want to be able to throw it a bit more. i need to throw both the pain and the M1 into a decent head wind and see what happens before i make a decision.

I am liking my Zero Mace more and more. Straighter than the GL and much more glide. Crazy good disc.

Straighter how? Are you seeing turn from the gold lines? I have not gotten more than 20 throws in a crappy snow filled field. I also just got the gold lines so don't have the zero to compare.
