I've just left the area for the summer. If you get a chance check out the newly expanded and updated course in Bandera, about 20 minutes south of Kerrville. They literally just installed the nine new baskets (expanding it from 9 to 18 holes), new signs, and tee pads. The pads are a little rough but the variety of holes and lines is very good.

The course in Junction is still mostly closed due to flood damage. The 18-hole "county" side was locked up last week when we were there. The 6 hole "city" side is open but not really worth the drive.

The Schreiner course has not been maintained for quite a while is is tough to play, but there are some decent holes out there. The bridge crossing the creek is gone, and if the creek has much water in it it can be tough to get back and forth (course crosses the creek 6 times in the nine hole round). And for the love of god, take a map if you're going to play it. It is very difficult to figure out without the map!!

Haven't played Boerne this past year but it is a good course.
