Default Lat 64 Core comparison

I am curious to what the Core compares to in other brands? Would you say it is like a buzzz or maybe a roc or any other molds? I am just working on my bag that I had to disc down for when I can start playing again after back surgery. Any help would be great.

you both mean Buzzz SS. a Core is nowhere near as HSS as a Buzzz.

Newer opto core I would consider to be the same as a regular buzz. GL core may be more like a buzz SS. In general, I find the core to be more nose angle sensitive than a buzz. I tend to switch the 2 in and out of my bag mainly due to the color of my Ti buzz (olive) vs my bright orange GL core.

Truth. Opto Core has less HSS than a Buzzz. I've never thrown a Buzzz SS, but they are probably close. GL Core is slightly less stable than Opto. But IMO also find all Coreshave more glide than all Buzzzes.

It really depends on the plastic and what time of year Latitude molded the Core. I've thrown some Core's that are as overstable as a Wasp and I've thrown some Cores that are as neutral as a Comet. Heavier weight Opto's fly very similar to a Buzzz. The same cannot be said for the Gold Line versions.

As Rugball suggested, the different plastics have similar flights comparable to a Buzzz and Buzzz SS.

Straight out of the box, Heavier Opto Core flies like a Buzzz (175g+)... I've noticed my lighter weight Opto Core (170g) tends to be closer to a Buzzz SS. GL Core(s) fly close to a Buzzz SS, but I've had a few with that were domey and flew closer to a Buzzz for me.

negative, a similar weight Opto Core and Z Buzzz fly differently. the Core flies more like a -1.5 +2, the buzzz flies -0.5 +2. Unless you have a flat top Core then it flies -2 +1.
