Default Discmania PD Questions

Couldn't find the PD thread. Did a search and nothing came up. Must be doing something wrong with the search engine.

Anyway....

I really like this disc. I bought some last winter in the gstar line. But it wasn't until I recently (late summer) bought some in the P line plastic and realized why all the hype.

Wow. These have incredible distance for a ten speed driver. Just the right of stabiltiy. Anyhow I know I'm in good company cause this is such a popular disc.

I would be interested in hearing comments, and suggestions on runs, plastics good places to purchase etc. (Seems discmania is over priced and their weight selections aren't the best but I have been ordering swirl stuff from them and love it.}

I just got in the mail today two small huk stamp swirls and they look so cool. The only complaint is I think the plastic could be more rigid.

So yeah what advice do the pro pd throwers have

PD has the magical optical illusion: where it looks like it skipped hard sideways....then you walk up to your disc to discover it ACTUALLY SKIPPED 50-100ft FORWARD!!!!!

I generally prefer the first run because the feel of the plastic and how flat it molded up, but I don't think I've ever thrown a pd I didn't like..

I like the stiff P-PDs the best. They bomb. A stiff P-PD is like the best DX Teebird ever.

I agree, stiff and flat. They aren't easy to find though.

How do they compare to the stiff, flat dx Thunderbirds? If you could, new and beat in.
