Well assuming the bubbles are only in the core, these would have a distinct advantage, at least over Blizzard (i don't really know other air plastics). The rim wouldn't be spongy and gross and if they can already make 155g drivers, they wouldn't have to put a ton of bubbles in to get down into I guess the 140s and 130s.

My thoughts exactly.

It would be cool if they could get a heavier/denser overmold and have max weight discs with all the weight in the rim.

I think this is more where they're going towards. Not some Blizzard type plastic because they already do that

^^Considering it's a Volt in the vid, it's probably as much about getting some lower weights for that class, since it seems like they're mostly 170+, like in regular N they can't get down even into the 160s?

Oh, and my bad to Hawking, it's fine for him, as someone said it's pretty much his voice. I just get tired of hearing it otherwise, lol.

Well the volt in the video barely looks bubbly at all. That's pretty cool.

Don't lie, you know you have dreams of having phone sex with a chick who sounds like that.

If all the bubbles are in the plate this has the potential to be the first bubbled plastic that makes my bag on a regular basis. But I was excited about Blizzard until I felt it in person, so the jury is very much out (imo at least).

Ok, I know I'm typically, staunchly anti-MVP...

But I'm super excited by this.

The reason that some of the early run Blizzard stuff was actually good was that it had bubbles in the flight plate instead of the rim, which made it have more gyroscopic effect. I had a very early Blizzard Boss that was a fantastic distance driver with bubbles only in the flight plate: pretty OS so it could handle lots of power but only 151g. All the more recent Innova stuff I've seen has the bubbles in the rim, which makes it less gyroscopic and seemingly also much less stable (all the ones I've tried to throw were basically flippy garbage). Also, as has been mentioned, the rims feel a little funny.

Anyway, this brings me to MVP. If they are putting the bubbles in the flight plate like Innova did early on (and they can do this consistently without compromising the durability of the disc), then I think it would create an even more gyroscopic disc (more stable-overstable). So yeah, 150's to low 160's volts with bubbles in the flight plates would probably be fantastic. It might even improve on something like the lighter Teslas where they could take more of the weight out of the flight plate and leave it in the rim.

I haven't tried bubble plastic from any other manufacturers other than Innova. Does anyone here know if any of the other manufacturers put the bubbles in the flight plates rather than in the rims?

Not to be a jerk, but, come on. Worry about getting the new higher speed drivers out. I am sick of waiting.
