Default Stable mate for Falchion?

I keep getting surprised by how far I can throw my Bio Falchion. I'd like to build a driver lineup with similar discs in different stabilities. I was thinking maybe a heavy Opto plus something along the lines of Sampo or TP Fortress. I have a P PD that is beating into not so overstable. Since these would be more for into wind, I would not be opposed to something slightly faster than Falchion. Thanks for suggestions.

Well its a different disc all-together but I've really been liking the Axiom neutron WRATH. Its close to a PD in my opinion, but can be lasered straight with reliable HSS

I can't make anything faster than Volt/Amp work from MVP/Axiom. I throw really low. Even then, Falchion has put my Amp to pasture.

Gold line Culverin for sure, or if you want a little bit more, opto.

In that case try a C-line TD. Its not as flippy as you'd think, pretty straight, like a more stable falchion is my guess. actually C-TD would be good I think,

Well, I absolutely ADORE the Elasto Sampos (especially metalflake) for stable/overstable lines. I use them pretty interchangeably with PDs. But since the only Elasto Sampos so far have been from 2015's Trilogy Challenge, the VIPs are MUUUCH more understable and it's harder to replace Elastos. I have a stack of 9 Metalflake Elasto Sampos that I hold very dear, but don't bag all too often.

To me, a more stable pairing to a Falchion would be a Saint Pro or even a classic Saint. Both have excellent glide, the Saint is a bit more of a hyzerflip/flex disc, where the St. Pro can handle more stable to overstable lines. Personally, for both molds, I prefer Gold Line.

As you know, I am a big Falchion fan. I throw the Opto(Lucid) Falchion. When I throw it hyzer, it generally keeps a hyzer line and doesn't fight out of it (even in a less-than-gale-force wind). I throw it straight and I get huge glide and wee bit of fade at the end. Got a birdie today when my uphill Falchion shot just blasted through the air then faded right to the basket parked behind some trees on the left side.

So maybe a heavier Opto Falchion would be okay for you. Having said that, some other ideas are:

1) Star or Pro SL - if you can find Valarie 4x Commemorative SLs, they'd be an awesome OS compliment to the Falchion. The Pro SLs (Pro Starfires) are good too, but will beat in over time, being Pro.

2) Starfire or Orc - whichever works better for you, either in Star plastic would be an overstable compliment to the Falchion.

3) Thunderbird - nuff said. The Champion and DX Thunderbirds are awesome.

4) More to Trilogy, there's the Culverin (pretty OS) and Convict (Paige's disc, less OS than Culverin but more than the Falchion). I haven't thrown a Culverin and only had a chance to throw someone else's Convict a couple of times, so my knowledge of them is more limited.

Discmania C-TD or S-CD ...... I think that's in the ballpark. I stopped throwing trilogy drivers after bad experiences with inconsistent flights

Sounds like a Culverin or Fortress are what you need.
