Cool, I think the sport is ready for new technology besides just making discs faster. Keep bringing the new ideas.

Finally got my Andro C. Too bad about the freezing rain we are supposed to get all weekend, would love to get out and chuck this beauty. Initial thoughts: this is a true mid/fairway tweener and the plastic feels outstanding. Fits in my hand like a mid, but is sleeker and faster looking like a fairway. Innova Star type plastic with much better grip and a nice amount of flex without being floppy or soft. Super excited to try it out.

This is such a fun disc to throw. Tweeners are so handy if you play technical courses. You can torque the hell out of these things forehand too.

Def looks like a FH disc. Sharp concave wing with a flat top. Looks pretty beefy. Really wish the crap weather would move out, more freezing rain tomorrow.

Noodle-arm Alert

Initial thoughts on the Andro C:

Fits the hand like a midrange
Wing is sleeker like a fairway
Wing is pretty concave, looks beefy
Flat top
Plastic is relatable to Gstar in pliablity and grip
Some small issues with tooling, or releasing from mold (?)

Thoughts after a few rounds:

Great HSS, gobbles wind
Reliable fade, not dumpy, but sweeping
Great grip in wet and dry
While flexible, not noticable on drives
Near fairway distance on fairway lines

I really liked this disc. Keep in mind this is the Andro C before the recent retool. I didn't have any issues with grip or feel in hand, which is the reason for the retool as I understand it. Also, if you didn't check the spoiler, do so. I'm no power player so I was releasing the Andro flat on most throws. At my power it didn't turn, didn't wiggle and laughed at wind. The fade was always there and very predictable. I'm not sure about the plastic yet. Grip is great, I'm not crazy about the flex. I never noticed it on drives and some reservations may be because I tend to like firmer discs. Durability wasn't really tested as it released well for me keeping most drives on the intended line. I did however throw it on a spike hyzer on a short hole, it clipped the chastity belt without any visible damage. I'm not sure what impressed me more, that it took no damage, or that I came that close to acing with it. To sum up, it will be in the bag for more testing because I'm pretty pleased with it so far.

Thanks for the Review! Glad you finally got a chance to do some testing. The small issues with tooling were also addressed in the retool. We had to add additional ventilation and other improvements to ensure a more even and consistent plastic flow. All future discs molds will be created with these improvements from the start.

If you like harder plastic blends our new run of Andros in Thermo F will definitely be for you. They are nice and stiff but still durable. The tooling changes did make the discs slightly less stable so while they will nicely compliment the first run Andro C's they will not be a direct replacement. We are considering a slightly beaded Andro variant in the future to add additional stability while keeping a comfortable feel.

Thanks again for giving the disc a try we really appreciate the support!

Oh, and I'll take the beaded variant in Fossil type plastic now.

Please and thanks.

We got that super gummy prototype in a package today, here at Infinite Discs. That's super-cool. Should be a great one in the cold. Thanks for the sample!
