Default Hasting's Closing - DG Stuff on Sale

Don't know how many of you have a Hasting's Entertainment near you, but they're all going out of business and having sales right now. Our local one has quite a few discs (mostly Discraft, some Innova), Innova bags, and one type of basket.

Just thought I'd mention for anyone looking for discs at a discount.

Cheers.

This is sad. Hastings and Academy are the only two places near me with discs.

Yeah. Our main disc retailer her carries everything BUT Discraft. The sporting goods stores are a joke selection wise.

Just for fun I walked into a Dick's sporting goods while on a road trip recently. As far as disc golf, it was all Innova: destroyers, wraiths, grooves, thunderbirds, daedaluses, valks, bosses, leopards, roc3s, sharks, colts, and aviars. I'm sure I missed a couple, but aviars, colts, wraiths, and valkyries accounted for half of their inventory. I was pleasantly surprised to see them selling UltraStars and some decent "footbags."

Hastings here is terrible. Of course they have everything at retail pricing (which I expect). After the measly 10 to 20% off right now the prices are still higher than Infinite (which is also in town).

Should be a while before the discounts actually amount to a discount on anything there that you can buy online or from Walmart.

They even had a nintendo ds 10% off....at the old pricing of $130, everywhere else in town has them for 80 or 90 bucks.

Just got back from a Hastings near my house. Prices even with the discount are more expensive than online retailers. I was able to feel some discs that I otherwise wouldn't have so it wasn't a total loss. Will definitely be getting a Big Z Roach from discgolfcenter. It felt amazing in my hand with a fan grip and power grip. Hopefully it flies great.

A Dick's Sporting Goods in my area barely carries discs anymore. At one point they were down to a couple of Champion Roc3s and an Aviar. Last I checked they had some DX Colts, some Roc3s, Star Aviars, and a couple of Destroyers. Once upon a time they had a good number of discs; now they have barely two racks on the end of a shelf. T

The silver lining is that they had several starter packs.

My dicks sporting goods carriers like 40 discs. 11 of them were destroyers. There was actually a good mix or flat/domey, and weights there. Too bad they were 18 a pop...and that I can't throw a destroyer...and that they're selling(or not selling I guess) DESTROYERS TO BEGINNERS!!!! After that it was a bunch of bliz bosses and champ grooves. Then a bunch of colts and sharks
